A complete iGaming platform for DOXXbet

For one of Slovakia's largest betting operators, we build and run a proprietary iGaming platform — from player account management and wallet through to a custom casino aggregator and native mobile apps. This is not a project with a finish line. We develop the platform in sprints, ship dozens of releases a year, and open it up to new markets alongside the client. Working on something similar?

The client

DOXXbet is an established betting operator running a hybrid business: a network of retail outlets alongside a full online product for web and mobile. Beyond its home market, it operates internationally — which places demands on the technology that a purely local solution cannot meet: multiple currencies, multiple regulatory frameworks, and local payment habits that differ in every country.

Codium is DOXXbet's long-term technology partner. We don't deliver individual modules to order — we own the platform as a whole: its development, its integrations and its day-to-day operation.

The starting point

Online betting has moved to mobile and changed the pace at which an operator has to work. Launching a new game is no longer a quarterly project — it's a matter of days. A bonus campaign has to be launchable in the morning and measurable the same evening. And all of it has to survive a load spike that arrives around one specific football or hockey match.

The original solution, built as a single large unit, was running out of room. It showed up in three ways:

speed

Throughput at peak.

iGaming load is not smooth. It arrives in entirely predictable but extremely short waves around the biggest fixtures.

cable

Integration speed.

Onboarding a new casino provider or payment method was slow, and each one had to be built from scratch.

trending_up

Headroom for growth.

Adding a market or a new type of operation meant touching the core of the system.

So the brief was not "rewrite the system". It was to build a platform that can be extended without every change reaching everything else.

What we deliver

Codium covers end-to-end development and operation of the platform. In practice this means the client doesn't coordinate several vendors, and never has to work out who owns the seam where two systems meet.

account_balance_wallet

Player account management & wallet

The core of the platform — player accounts, real-time balances and transactions, with data consistency as a hard requirement at every moment.

casino

Casino aggregator

A proprietary unified interface for onboarding third-party game suppliers. Instead of a separate integration per provider, there is one abstraction layer.

payments

Payment layer

Deposits and withdrawals processed across multiple payment services in parallel, including local methods in international markets.

redeem

Bonuses & loyalty

Configuration and automated evaluation of promotions, free spins, cashback and loyalty mechanics.

admin_panel_settings

Back office

An administration environment where operations, customer care and risk management find the data they need in one place.

storefront

Retail and online, unified

Retail outlets and terminals work against the same player account as the web and the app.

smartphone

Mobile apps and APIs

Highly available APIs and native applications treated as a first-class channel, not an add-on to the website.

verified_user

Regulatory processes

Player verification and KYC/AML built into the platform rather than bolted on.

Our approach

01

Modular architecture

The platform is split into independent services that can be scaled and deployed separately. A change in one area doesn't put the whole system at risk.

02

Ready-built connectors instead of building from zero

Thanks to abstraction layers and existing connectors, onboarding a new casino provider or payment gateway takes days to weeks rather than months.

03

Resilience first

Redundant infrastructure, 24/7 monitoring and alerting, automated testing in staging ahead of every release, and CI/CD pipelines that make deployment routine rather than an event.

04

Scaling that follows real load

Hot parts of the system scale on their own. There's no need to over-provision the entire platform for a spike that lasts two hours a week.

Selected capabilities

hub

Unified casino aggregator

What it does

Connects game suppliers into a single platform interface.

The benefit

We have over 1,000 games integrated for DOXXbet today and new ones go live continuously — onboarding further suppliers and games is part of running the platform, not a separate project. The aggregator is built to carry tens of thousands, so the pace of portfolio growth is a commercial decision, not a technical one.

currency_exchange

Smart payment engine

What it does

Routes deposits and withdrawals across multiple payment services and can switch between them.

The benefit

Fewer failed payments and faster payouts. Adding a local payment method in a new market is configuration, not a separate project.

loyalty

Real-time bonus & loyalty engine

What it does

Assigns and evaluates bonus conditions automatically against the transaction stream.

The benefit

Marketing doesn't wait on development and doesn't credit anything by hand. The player is rewarded immediately, which feeds straight into retention.

What it changed for the client

campaign

Marketing
builds and launches promotions and bonus campaigns on its own — no development capacity, no waiting for a release.

monitoring

Risk and trading
get real-time visibility and automated detection of unusual behaviour and breached limits.

support_agent

Customer care
sees a player's full history, transactions and verification status on one screen, without switching systems.

settings_suggest

Operations
have automated what used to take people: deposit and withdrawal processing, bonus condition evaluation, verification flows and reporting.

sports_esports

Players
experience it as faster load times, a smoother login and payment journey, and a service that holds up when everyone uses it at once.

Growth the platform can carry

Technology alone doesn't create growth. But it can either carry it or hold it back.

DOXXbet grows at a double-digit rate year after year, and the platform has grown with it — no core rebuild, no outages at peak, and no starting from scratch each time a new market opens. The ceiling on growth is a commercial decision now, not a technical one.

"CODIUM is DOXXbet's strategic IT partner. They deliver development in the latest technologies and take care of the security and functionality of our systems. As a gaming operator with an enormous volume of transactions, we value reliability and functionality at almost 100% with no major outages. An important part of CODIUM is also their innovative and visionary approach, which we at DOXXbet value in this fast-moving AI era."

Custom development

An off-the-shelf platform doesn't cover everything. Parts of this one came directly out of the client's specific needs:

  • checkProprietary bonus and loyalty mechanics shaped by how DOXXbet actually works with its players, not by what a boxed product permits.
  • checkReal-time connection between physical retail and the online account — one account, not two worlds.
  • checkInterfaces for international expansion, including local service providers and adaptation to local rules.
  • checkBulk bonus distribution for campaigns that reach large player segments at once.

New requirements run through an agile product process:

Critical changes ship within hours; smaller product changes within days.

Some of what began as custom development for DOXXbet later became part of our wider product portfolio — the casino aggregator and the payment layer among them.

International expansion

The platform is multi-currency, multi-locale and built for differing regulatory frameworks. That's not a datasheet claim — it has been proven by entering markets outside Europe, where local payment service providers had to be connected and the rules adapted to local legislation.

This is where modular architecture pays off most: a new market means configuration and local service integration, not a second version of the platform.

Milestones

01

Move to a modular architecture

A transformation of the system core that created room for both performance and growth.

02

Launch of the proprietary casino aggregator

A step change in how fast the game portfolio can grow.

03

Entry into international markets

Deploying the platform beyond the home market, including local service integration and regulatory adaptation.

How the partnership works

Daily agile collaboration in sprints. Codium's development and project teams talk directly to product owners on the DOXXbet side — with none of the intermediate layers that slow decisions down.

Requirements arrive from three directions: the client's business strategy, player feedback, and from us, when we see a technical opportunity the client doesn't know about yet.

From brief to production:

update

Smaller updates ship continuously, several times a month.

event_repeat

Larger feature sets on a regular four-week cycle.

From the team

"What we're proudest of is that we didn't just build this platform — we still run it. It stands comparison with the major international iGaming products and it's ready to grow further. This project is the clearest demonstration of what Codium does: combining deep sportsbook and casino domain knowledge with building our own systems, and covering the entire operation from one place."

Going live is where it starts

We don't hand DOXXbet a platform — we develop it, day after day, release after release. That's the difference between a vendor and a technology partner.

If you're facing a similar brief — a new platform, modernising an existing one, or expanding into new markets — let's talk.
